I bought this computer as soon as the 2.4 GHz Core2 MacBook Pros came out in June and have used it daily since then. I primarily used it at home (non-smoking) and had it plugged into an external keyboard, monitor, mouse.

The case is in great shape and so is the display. No dead pixels that I've been able to find. Also, since it's been primarily used while plugged into keyboard, monitor, mouse, the inside of the case has had very little wear and tear as well.
